ONCE WORN is a unique Rent-A-Rack, pre-loved, second-hand fashion store that provides a convenient platform for individuals to recycle their high-quality garments, earn money, and contribute to circular fashion.
Before committing to renting a rack, we encourage you to carefully review our terms and conditions below:
PREPARING YOUR ITEMS
Please ensure there are no marks, stains, holes or rips on any of your clothing. Ensure that all zips are working and no buttons are missing on your garments. We only want to provide the best quality items for sale to our customers. If a mark, stain, hole or rip is noticed, or if a missing button or faulty zip is found, the item will be considered not suitable for sale and will be put aside for you to collect.
Use our convenient Zellr link to book a rack and price your garments.
Please ensure to price your items and have the barcodes “Ready to Print” 24 hours PRIOR to your rental start date. This gives us time to print your barcodes, add them to your swing tags and have it all ready and running smoothly on the morning you’re booking begins. We’ve got you!
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Coat hangers are on us—just leave them behind when your rental ends.
We’ll tidy your rack daily, return try-on pieces, and give your items a little love.
By agreeing to our rental terms, you’re giving ONCE WORN the green light to showcase your items on social media and in-store.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Please ensure that payment is made upon booking to confirm your reservation. Kindly be aware that your reservation will not be confirmed until payment is received. We use PayPal for online payments.
For a Floor Rack, which can accommodate approximately 40-50 hanging items and 5 pairs of shoes or handbags. The rental fee is $85/4 days (minimum of $170 for 8 days), in addition to a 15% commission.
For a Wall Rack, which can accommodate approximately 30-40 hanging items and 3 pairs of shoes or handbags. The rental fee is $70/4 days (minimum of $140 for 8 days), in addition to a 15% commission.
For a Kids Rack (Sizes 0-5), which can accommodate approximately 20-30 hanging items and 5 pairs of shoes. The rental fee is $55/4 days (minimum of $110 for 8 days), in addition to a 15% commission.
Please be mindful that bulky items will mean less items per rack. Also ensure that your Rack isn't too full, which allows customers to easily browse.
Please be advised that rack rental fees are non-refundable.
To comply with fire safety regulations, kindly keep all garments and shoes within the boundaries of your rack.
As the rental period concludes, we can help boost sales by marking down your rack by a defined percentage. The percentage amount is up to you; however, it needs to apply to the entire rack, not specific items. To do this please contact us by phone or email.
PACKING UP
Pop in 30 minutes before closing on your final rental day to pack up your rack.
If you need us to pack down for you, we charge $10 per day for storage (maximum of 5 days).
If we haven’t heard from you after 5 days (unless you’ve told us otherwise) any unsold items may be considered for donation. You have the option to request that unsold items be donated to our Charity Rack after the rental period.
Late pickup? If our team needs to clear your rack, there’s a $15 pack-down fee, taken from your earnings.
MOVEMENT & LOST PROPERTY
We sometimes shift items for visual merchandising. We’ll do our best to keep everything together but give your rack a quick check before heading out.
Misplaced pieces? We’ll hold them for 2 weeks, then they become property of ONCE WORN.
GETTING PAID
We’ll transfer your sales (minus the 15% commission) to your Australian bank account within 7 business days after your rental ends. We also want to emphasise that your payment will be processed only after the collection of your garments.
Sorry—no cash payouts.
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES
While our team endeavours to deter theft, it's important to note that we do not assume responsibility for any stolen or damaged items. We maintain a strict policy against selling stolen, fraudulent, dirty, or explicit items. Additionally, please be mindful of our no return or exchange policy and ensure that all items are thoroughly inspected for faults before entering our store.
We can’t offer returns or exchanges because the items belong to individual sellers—not us. Most pieces are pre-loved, vintage, or one-of-a-kind, so we encourage customers to inspect everything before buying.
NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
Plans changed? No problem—just email us at hello@onceworn.com.au at least 2 weeks before your start date.
Can’t make your weekday setup? Pick a Saturday or Sunday start instead!
If we don’t hear from you and you haven’t set up your rack within 2 days of your start date, we’ll release it and your rental will be forfeited.
FORGOTTEN STUFF
If you accidentally leave anything behind, we’ll hold onto it for 2 weeks.
After that, anything uncollected becomes property of the ONCE WORN family (aka, donated to our Charity Rack or repurposed).
